End of Life Conversations Series Offered

“Who Speaks for Me?” a free two-part series about end of life conversations will be offered at JFS. Join the series for the movie “Being Mortal” on Thursday, February 13, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the Board Room at JFS. There will be a post-movie discussion facilitated by JFS Care Manager Bonnie Jaffe, RN, and Community Chaplain Rabbi Lynn Liberman, BCC. Light snacks will be served.Come back for dinner on Thursday, February 20, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Who Speaks for Me: A Conversation about End of Life—Expected and Unexpected will be on Thursday, August 15 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the West Seventh Community Center. Panel members will include a local physician, nurse, social worker, chaplain and a family member who has experienced the challenges and gifts of making end-of-life decisions with family members.
