Community Chaplaincy

Contact Rabbi Lynn Liberman, Community Chaplain, (651) 434-4112.

If you are struggling with life challenges, feel overwhelmed and long for a spiritual connection, our Community Chaplaincy Program can provide compassionate spiritual guidance and care.

The JFS Community Chaplaincy Program delivers spiritual guidance, ritual observance and a listening presence to individuals and families in their homes and care settings or other settings as needed. It provides renewed meaning and hope to those coping with illness, loneliness, disability, end-of-life issues and other life struggles. The program helps unaffiliated and marginalized Jews connect with the Jewish community or simply reconnect with their Jewishness.

Advance Care Planning

Rabbi Liberman is trained as a certified Honoring Choices facilitator, the most common advance care planning tool used in Minnesota. She is available to meet with individuals and families to simply facilitate conversations and/or help individuals complete an Honoring Choices document or any advanced care planning document. This service is available on a sliding fee scale. No one will be turned away because of inability to pay.
