JFS offers a Russian-speaking social worker who provides the following free services:
Weekly visits to Graham Place, 1745 Graham Avenue in St. Paul each Monday from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. and to Rockwood Place High Rise, 2259 Rockwood Avenue in St. Paul each Wednesday from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. People from these high rise facilities and the surrounding neighborhood are welcome to drop in to see the social worker or make an appointment in advance by calling (651) 359-7884. The social worker can help with the following:
- Mail and bill translation
- Calls to doctors to resolve billing issues
- Complete and process County paperwork
- Complete Energy Assistance paperwork
- Calls to help resolve billing or county issues
- Information and referral to programs
- Assist with Metro Mobility applications
- Insurance information and assistance
- Holocaust Survivor assistance
- Notary service
