JFS invites women who are navigating or embarking on a mid-life journey to another session of the popular Next Chapter Series on Sunday, January 12 in the JFS Board Room. Participation is free; however registration is required.

Psychologist Ruth Markowitz will help the group explore aging and friendships. The time of this session is slightly longer, from 10:00AM to noon. Refreshments will be available beginning at 9:45AM.

End of Life Conversations Series Offered

“Who Speaks for Me?” a free two-part series about end of life conversations will be offered at JFS. Join the series for the movie “Being Mortal” on Thursday, February 13, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the Board Room at JFS. There will be a post-movie discussion facilitated by JFS Care Manager Bonnie Jaffe, RN, and Community Chaplain Rabbi Lynn Liberman, BCC. Light snacks will be served.Come back for dinner on Thursday, February 20, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
