JFS Therapist Receives Award

JFS therapist Beth Johnson, LMFT, recently received the Founding Mother’s Award from Minnesota Women in Psychology, an organization of women in the field of psychology established in 1977. The award is given to a person who has “made a difference in the field of psychology, in the MWP organization and in the lives of women or children.” Beth is a board member and editor for the organization.

Beth is a member of the JFS counseling team that offers traditional psychotherapy, community chaplaincy, PEARLS and PEARLS for Caregivers short-term counseling program for older adults, and caregiver and grief support groups.
