JFS will offer “The Doctor is in: An Evening With a Pediatric Infectious Disease Expert” to provide support for expectant parents during the COVID pandemic on Wednesday, June 10, from 8:00 to 9:00PM. The Zoom event will feature Dr. Bazak Sharon, M.D.
Topics will include navigating changes in prenatal/postnatal care and birth plans, safely navigating health care systems and more. Discussion will focus on how to accept the uncertainty of living through a pandemic while planning for your new arrival.
JFS is offering PEARLS (Program to Encourage Active and Rewarding Lives for Seniors) training January 7 and 14 to professionals including counselors, therapists, social workers, nurses and administrators. The two-day training equips all members of a PEARLS team to implement PEARLS successfully in their organization.
