Who Speaks for Me: A Conversation about End of Life—Expected and Unexpected will be on Thursday, August 15 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the West Seventh Community Center. Panel members will include a local physician, nurse, social worker, chaplain and a family member who has experienced the challenges and gifts of making end-of-life decisions with family members.

JFS is partnering with Sholom to bring the benefits of gardening to Sholom residents as we volunteer together to share the bounty of the season with a worthy organization in the greater community, Open Arms of Minnesota. We’re seeking 15-20 friends to support residents by volunteering to harvest and package garden produce on Thursday, September 12 from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the Sholom Shaller gardens.
JFS will be closed on Monday and Tuesday, September 30 and October 1, for Rosh Hashanah.
JFS will close at 4PM on Tuesday, October 8, and be closed all day Wednesday, October 9 for Yom Kippur.
