2G & 3G: Sharing a Unique Legacy
An interactive session with Dr. Felsen focused on the struggles and unique resiliencies related to being a child or grandchild of Holocaust survivors. This session is only open to subsequent generations of Holocaust survivors and their partners. Limited to 20 participants.
Presented by Dr. Irit Felsen, herself a child of Survivors. She studied in Israel, Germany and at Yale University. She is a member of the Yale Trauma Study Group, an adjunct professor at Columbia University and Yeshiva University, and the co-convener of the Trauma Working Group of the NGO Committee on Mental Health in the UN. She has published widely about survivors and about intergenerational transmission in the second generation.
