Caregiver Support Group via Zoom
April 25|3:00 pm - 4:00 pm
An event every month that begins at 3:00 pm on day Fourth of the month, repeating indefinitely
This group meets via Zoom and offers support to anyone caring for an older adult, regardless of where the older adult resides or how far their disease has progressed. You are welcome to participate in this group whether you are caring for someone who lives in a long-term care facility or for someone who lives in your home, with someone else or independently. No matter the level of care needed or the capabilities of the person cared for, you will find this group a safe place for caregivers, family and friends of people needing care.
- Develop a support system.
- Exchange practical information on care giving challenges and possible solutions.
- Talk through issues and ways of coping.
- Share feelings, needs, and concerns.
- Learn about community resources.
This is not a drop-in group. Contact Tara Burns at (763) 300-3146 or by email to learn more and see if this would be a good fit for you.
