JFS Awarded State Grant
JFS has been notified that the Minnesota Department of Human Services (MNDHS), Aging and Adult Service Division, has awarded a grant totaling $124,500 to help fund the PEARLS (Program to Encourage Active and Rewarding Lives) programs, including the booster program, through June 30, 2023.
With this grant, the PEARLS program will improve the wellbeing of older adults and caregivers dealing with mild to moderate depression by expanding PEARLS to reach additional clients through a new partner referral model; increase the impact of the PEARLS Booster program by expanding the availability of booster sessions.
