JFS Continues to Monitor Humanitarian Need for Ukrainians

With President Biden’s announcement last week regarding the admission of 100,000 Ukrainians into the United States, JFS’ national association, the Network Jewish Human Service Association (NJHSA), is leading the focus of Jewish Family Service agency resettlement efforts across the country. NJHSA has already begun planning to support these new arrivals that will likely happen between 2022 and 2023.

JFS CEO Ruth Olkon is attending twice weekly briefings with Jewish Federations of North America (JFNA) to discuss issues related to the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine and how it impacts North America. These briefings are open to the public. Click here to register to attend.
