JFS Counselor Contributes to Successful Hoarding Conference
NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) Minnesota, the Minnesota Hoarding Task Force and Trellis sponsored an on-line Hoarding Disorder Conference on July 21. More than 425 people attended including housing managers, mental health practitioners, case managers, senior service providers, fire and emergency service personnel, family members and people experiencing hoarding disorder.
JFS PEARLS Counselor Tara Burns served on the conference committee providing the voice and viewpoint of a practitioner during planning and moderated two programs on conference day.
