2021 B’Yachad Gift Bag Program Planning Has Begun

B'Yachad

With Hanukah beginning early this year, planning for the annual B’Yachad Gift Bag program has already begun.

JFS invites everyone to support the program’s goal of delivering more than 200 gift bags including items for health and safety and a gift card for home essentials and groceries to our clients in need this year.

B’Yachad offers opportunities to feel connected to our larger community. The program extends gifts of essentials, treats and greetings to those in need who can use a boost.

B’Yachad builds community through collaborative agency partnerships across organizations and generations, demonstrating our Jewish values by promoting the spiritual health and wellness of those we serve.

We have three opportunities for you to get involved this year.

  1. Donate at jfssp.org/donate. Your gift of $36 will provide one gift bag that contains greetings and a gift card for groceries and home essentials. $72 will provide two bags!
  2. Register here to safely deliver gift bags. Sign up for curbside pickup at JFS, then deliver your bags to the doorsteps of those in need between November 19 through 21.
  3. Register here to create holiday cards. Adults and children are encouraged to create Cards of Kindness to be inserted in every gift bag.

Help us ensure that the isolated, lonely and vulnerable know we are thinking of them.
