Transition to In-Office Work Has Begun

As COVID rates decrease and vaccinations provide protection against disease, JFS has been working hard to develop thoughtful and safe plans, guided by the CDC and Minnesota Department of Health, to transition back to in-person operations and services.

The administrative team has returned to working from the JFS office at 1633 West 7th. This team includes CEO Ruth Olkon, COO Tim Gothmann, Operations Manager Debbie Vertelney, Executive Assistant Miriam Feingold, Billing Specialist Vitali Gueron and  receptionist Kady McCalister. The team will continue to work from the office each Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. until Thursday, September 2. On Fridays, services will continue, and all staff will work remotely.

JFS will be closed on Monday, September 6 for Labor Day and again on Tuesday and Wednesday, September 7 and 8 for Rosh Hashanah. JFS anticipates a full return to in-person operations and services beginning Thursday, September 9.

This plan is designed to help safely and comfortably transition from remote to in-office work.
