Virtual Annual Caregiver Conference Reaches Hundreds

Keeping the Spirit Alive

Keeping the Spirit Alive, the free bi-annual conference for caregivers supporting a loved one with Alzheimer’s or dementia was held virtually on May 2. More than 250 people across 23 states registered for the event.

JFS Director of Aging & Disability Services Jill Grover, MSW, LISW, along with Laine Bermansohn, Program Supervisor for Senior Services and Mental Health Support Services for JFCS, presented “What to Expect from Care Coordination and Coaching.” Their session highlighted caregiver coaching, care planning consultations, coordination services for seniors, and individualized supports for the health and wellbeing of caregivers.
