JFS Stands in Solidarity with AAPI Community
JFS CEO Ruth Olkon issued a statement condemning hate and violence.
“The senseless murder of eight people in the Atlanta area is difficult to comprehend. We extend our sympathy and sorrow to everyone grieving and stand in solidarity with the Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) communities. Through our social service support and advocacy of all people, we are committed to strengthening tolerance, acceptance and peace. We support the work of the Jewish Community Relations Council of Minnesota and the Dakotas (JCRC) and their partnership with the Communities Combatting Hate coalition that is advocating for policy change to make Minnesota safe for all people.”
