PEARLS Team Changes
JFS announces the promotion of Tara Burns, MA, to Lead PEARLS counselor. Tara earned a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from Adler Graduate School with an interest in specializing in aging, older adults, life transitions, loss and grief and caregiver support.
In addition, JFS UCare Care Coordinator Miley Anderson, MSW, LGSW, has moved to the position of PEARLS counselor.
PEARLS (Program to Encourage Active and Rewarding Lives in Seniors) is an intervention for older adults and caregivers experiencing depression or low mood.
