JFS Staff Member Featured at MAVA Conference
JFS Volunteer Engagement Specialist Margie Solomon was a presenter at the recent MN Association for Volunteer Administration (MAVA) leadership conference.
During the “Tapping into the Strengths of Older Volunteers” workshop, Margie, along with two other co-facilitators, helped participants explore pathways to volunteering for seniors and recognize the significant value they bring. While abilities may change with age, organizations can implement a program to help volunteers transition from one role to the next. More than 60 people attended the workshop.
