JFS Staff Expand Engagement With Sholom

JFS friend and neighbor Sholom has asked JFS Aging Services Director Chris Kellogg, JD, to serve on the Sholom Community Alliance (SCA) Quality Care Committee. This committee is responsible for ensuring that the quality of life, care and services that are provided to all those served by Sholom are based on industry standards and regulations, best practice and continuous improvement across the care delivery systems in order to assist those served to live healthy. This committee is responsible for ensuring that quality of life, care and services are provided to all served within Sholom programs based on industry standards and regulations, best practice and continuous improvement across the care delivery systems in order to assist those we serve to live healthy.

In addition, Sholom will honor JFS Volunteer Engagement Specialist Margie Solomon with the Susie Selcer Leadership Award during its annual meeting on July 22.

Susie Selcer was an essential part of the history and future of Sholom, Sholom Foundation and Sholom Auxiliary. The award pays tribute to individuals whose work within the Sholom organizations and the greater community exemplifies the outstanding leadership, integrity, spirit and tzedekah of Susie Selcer.

Margie has served on the Sholom Community Alliance Board since 2012. In addition to serving as chairperson of the Quality Care Committee since 2015, her service has included membership on the Executive Committee and founder of the Human Resources Committee.
