Financial Assistance Qualifications Broadened
JFS Emergency Financial Assistance is now available to individuals who live or work in the West 7th neighborhood of St. Paul.
To qualify for up to $1,000 in assistance, you must meet one of these criteria: be a current JFS client, live in the greater St. Paul area, be a member of the St. Paul Jewish community and/or work or live in the West 7th Street neighborhood.
This assistance helps with emergency expenses related to housing, utilities, transportation and some health expenses. Assistance must be able to stabilize a situation. The assistance checks are made payable directly to the vendor.
In response to the economic challenges caused by COVID and other recent events, JFS will consider requests through 2020 by members of the West 7th community.
