Passover for All Continues Despite COVID-19
Volunteer Engagement Specialist Margie Solomon leads the JFS Passover for All annual event. Faced with unprecedented circumstances and no in-person contact, Margie quickly enlisted help to make sure Passover supplies were delivered to JFS clients.
“My husband, two close friends and I quickly and successfully delivered bags filled with Passover supplies to the lobby of Graham Place Apartments,” said Margie. “We are enjoying a lovely partnership with the property management team there, where the vast majority of our Russian clients live. They agreed to safely distribute the bags to their residents’ doors, demonstrating their concern for their physical and spiritual safety. We even had a special helper to guard our precious cargo, Sadie, the Goldendoodle.” Her family is Howard Simon and Kim Austrian of West St. Paul, who volunteered to help Margie complete a delivery for Passover for All.
