Advocating Your Values
JFS will co-sponsor “Advocating Your Values,” an advocacy training event sponsored and hosted by Jewish Family and Children’s Service of Minneapolis. The event will take place 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. Sunday, February 23, in the Community Room at JFCS (5905 Golden Valley Road, Golden Valley). Registration begins at 12:30 p.m.
The event is also co-sponsored by The National Council of Jewish Women Minnesota, PRISM and Jewish Community Relations Council of Minnesota and the Dakotas.
Whether you are just beginning to get involved with advocacy work or are more experienced, join us for this opportunity to learn how to influence decision-makers, make an impact and practice your skills. This training will address the importance of advocacy, strategies for talking with legislators, planning your message, making your pitch and more. It is free and open to all.
