We’d Like to Introduce

This month, JFS would like to introduce Dr. Mitchell Wittenberg. Mitch is celebrating his 25th anniversary as a JFS employee. Over the course of 25 years, there are hundreds of clients who, with Mitch’s support, have begun to experience an improved quality of life.

Mitch is a licensed psychologist with over 30 years of clinical experience. He received his doctorate in clinical psychology from the University of Rochester, NY and has practiced in a number of psycho-therapeutic settings including community mental health centers, family service agencies, college counseling centers, hospitals, and schools.

Mitch has been with JFS for 25 years where he is currently supervisor of counseling and early intervention services. His clinical practice includes work with adults, couples, families, children, and adolescents, he consults to several schools, and he facilitates a school-based creative problem-solving program he developed for elementary and middle school students.

In his free time, Mitch enjoys fly fishing for trout, playing guitar, collecting old vinyl LPs, and spending time with family and friends.
