Legacy Established Decades Ago Benefits JFS

Many decades ago, Flora Levine created a trust for the benefit of her daughter, Lois, to use during her life. She also designated several St. Paul Jewish organizations to share the remainder of the trust after Lois passed on.

Volunteers Needed

JFS is in search of committed volunteer drivers to deliver Kosher Meals on Wheels to seniors in our community. Friendly, reliable volunteers who want to make a difference in the lives of elders who might otherwise not have access to a hot meal on their own can make a huge impact on a person’s life with a minimal time requirement each week!

Making an Impact

In the Making an Impact series, clients and services are featured to expand awareness of the wide array of help available at JFS and to ensure donors understand exactly what their dollars do: the lives they touch, and the difference they make throughout the community.

We’d Like to Introduce

Diane and Richard “Ricky” Smookler have been fixtures in the St. Paul Jewish community for decades. Both born in the Twin Cities, they didn’t meet until studying at the University of Bologna, Italy. St. Paul has been their home for 45 years and their service, dedication, and support of many Jewish organizations runs deep.
