Community Chaplain Will Have Help Delivering Holiday Programs to Clients

JFS Community Chaplain Rabbi Lynn Liberman, BCC, announces the addition of Volunteer Chaplain Cantor Deb Winston to the Community Chaplaincy program. Deb and her husband recently returned to the St. Paul area after serving several communities on the east coast. She became a cantor through Hebrew Union college after working for more than 20 years as a nurse. She also has been trained in chaplaincy through the required course work of Clinical Pastoral Education and has volunteered as a responder in spiritual care with the American Red Cross.

Deb and Rabbi Lynn are producing a video in celebration of Purim and a second for Passover. Both videos will be available on the JFS website for clients to view. Chaplains at care facilities will also be able to share the videos with their clients. When COVID safety restrictions are lifted, in-person visits will resume.
