The Twin Cities Jewish Community 22nd Annual Conference on Mental Health will be held in person at Temple Israel on Sunday, October 23. The keynote speaker will be Nate Cannon, BA, MFA, CDP, a nationally recognized speaker and author. Nate will share his experience as a transgender man living well in recovery with both a mental health diagnosis and an unseen physical disability. Breakout sessions this year will focus on youth, suicidality, addiction, finding balance and combating loneliness and isolation. JFS Community Chaplain Rabbi Lynn Liberman, BCC, and JFS PEARLS therapist Tara Burns, MA, will be presenting at the conference this year.
