Each year during the winter holiday season, JFS, along with agency partners and generous community volunteers, spreads joy and holiday cheer by distributing festive gift bags to many of our clients. Our B’Yachad program serves disabled adults or seniors who are alone or isolated by mobility challenges during the holiday season.
There are a variety of ways you can help bring everyone together for a happy holiday.
Donate Gifts in Donation Bins
  • Winter hats, scarves and gloves at Talmud Torah
  • Reusable food storage containers at Mount Zion Temple
  • Body wash, lotion and shampoo at Temple of Aaron
  • Adult games, coloring books and word puzzle books at JCC
  • Kitchen utensils and dish towels at Beth Jacob
Wrap Gifts
  • Sign up to volunteer at our B’Yachad pop-up space in Sibley Plaza during the week of November 26 to wrap gifts.
Deliver Gifts
  • All hands on deck for gift bag delivery the week of December 3. Russian-speaking volunteers are especially needed for this part of the program.
Cash and gift card donations to support the B’Yachad program are always welcome. Contact JFS Volunteer Engagement Specialist Margie Solomon at (651) 690-8907 or msolomon@jfssp.org to volunteer or for more information.
Thank you to all the organizations who help make the B’Yachad program possible each year.
